About The Hosts

Gary Rispone was introduced to the outdoors by his father and has been an avid outdoorsman and nature conservationist ever since.  He has spent his life passing his love of the outdoors to his children and grandchildren.

In 2002, Gary created Paradise Louisiana to share his passion with the state of Louisiana.  As the original host of this outdoor news show, Gary has co-hosted with two of the biggest outdoor personalities in the state.  He has also been an active member of nature conservation organizations such as the Atchafalaya Basin Commission, Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, Quality Deer Management Association, the Baton Rouge Sportsman’s League and Coastal Conservation Association.

Some of Gary’s most treasured memories are those of the many hours he has spent in the outdoors, hunting and fishing with his father, brothers, children, and grandchildren as well as countless other family and friends.

Gary considers his biggest passion and achievement to be introducing children, individuals with disabilities and those less fortunate to the beautiful state of Louisiana, the sportsman’s paradise.
