The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is accepting applications for a lottery drawing for fishing permits in the White Lake Wetlands Conservation Area in Vermilion Parish.

GUEYDAN, La. – The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is accepting applications for a lottery drawing for fishing permits in the White Lake Wetlands Conservation Area in Vermilion Parish

The permits would allow fishing from March 15-Aug. 15.

A total of 100 permits will be issued. Each will cost $40.

Applications must be accompanied by a non-refundable fee of $5 in the form of a check or money order made payable to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.
